Orchid Mania:The Seductive Orchid
The Garden’s annual ode to nature’s most exotic plant fills the building with hundreds of colorful blooms and makes spring seem a little closer. A major artistic installation in the Garden’s main lobby and a series of vignettes will speak to this year’s theme.

Bugged Out
Just in time for spring break – creepies and crawlies fill the Garden. Meal worm races, bug experts, bug collections – and a chance for kids to learn about the important role that bugs play in nature.
April 5 – June 29
Zensai: The Horticulture of Japan
The Garden puts the spotlight on Japan with a major touring exhibit of Japanese Garden photographs by Haruzo Ohashi from the permanent collection of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Florida, a celebration of the Garden’s own Japanese Garden, exhibitions of Bonsai, Ikebana, and tea ceremonies.

Prevention's "Health for Good" Festival
We're proud to team with Prevention, the #1 healthy lifestyle magazine and the 10th largest magazine in the nation, to insipire you to participate in a full day devoted to "Ageless Living." You will be treated to a day's worth activities focusing on mind, body and spirit. The day will start in a dramatic way with "Cleveland's Biggest Stretch."
July 19 – September 7
Go Bananas
A traveling exhibition that looks at the diversity of bananas, who uses them and for what, complemented by beautiful banana and banana-inspired plantings on the Geis Terrace.
August 25
Farm to Table
A collaboration with North Union Farmers Market, this annual celebration of local farms and farmers markets on the Garden’s Geis Terrace is one of the hottest foodie tickets in town.
September 26
Iron Floral Arranger II
A runaway success back for its second year, the event, modeled after the Iron Chef TV show, features local celebrities paired up to create flower arrangements against the clock. “More entertaining than the TV show on which it is based” – Currents.
October 25
BOO-Tanical Bash
The Garden’s annual Halloween party for little ghosts and goblins just gets bigger and better every year. Crafts, games, activities – and of course, trick or treating in a safe setting.
November 22 – January 4
WinterShow
For years, families have made a visit to Cleveland Botanical Garden during the holidays a Cleveland tradition. Magical decorations, the city’s biggest and best gingerbread display, plus inspired shopping in the Garden Store and seasonal offerings in the Garden Cafe make it a must during the most festive of seasons.
