Cleveland Regional Council of Science Teachers
Professional development workshop where you will:

- Become a member of the Cleveland Regional Council of Science Teachers (CRCST) and Teacher Resource Centers of Cleveland Botanical Garden or the Cleveland Museum of Natural History
- Earn one hour of non-degree graduate credit from Ashland University (optional)

- Introduction to Angel web interface used for the online portion of program
- Introduction to the GEMS guide Buzzing a Hive
February 24 - April 18th
- Online class assignments focused on the use of science activities with appropriate fiction and nonfiction reading material including GEMS units.
- Additional hands-on and reading activities selected by instructor.
- Participants are online for 6 contact hours.
Wednesday, March 24th, 4:30-7:30 pm Cleveland Botanical Garden & Cleveland Museum of Natural History
- Introduction to the GEMS guide Tree Homes
- Tour and activities: Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Teacher Resource Center
- Tour and activities: Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Teacher Resource Center
April TBD: CRCST Spring Symposium
Course concludes by May 1, 2010.
