Ingredients for some of the cooking demonstrations provided courtesy of Fresh Fork Market, a community supported agriculture operation founded in 2008 by four Case Western Reserve University students determined to make a more efficient connection between local customers and local producers. Fresh Fork created a virtual farmers market, an eBay for local foods. Today, Fresh Fork includes more than 70 local farmers from within a 75 mile radius of Cleveland selling on the web. This includes produce, meats, cheeses, pastas, breads, and many other items. Fresh Fork sells to both home consumers and restaurants.
