Botanical Arts for Kids: Arts in the Garden

Join this NEW series in Hershey Children’s Garden presented by The Beck Center for the Arts. Each week brings a new art form and new experiences for children ages 3 to 10. Registration is available for the four-part series or individual sessions. Class limited to 15 participants.

• July 9: Music in the Garden - Students will participate in singing, movement, listening activities and instrument playing.
• July 16: Theater in the Garden - Children will explore the basics of creative dramatics through theater games, pantomime and storytelling.
• July 23: Dance/Movement in the Garden - An introduction to the art of movement with age appropriate music, gross motor skills, simple dance steps and the use of props.
• July 30: Visual Arts in the Garden - Young artists and scientists create a three dimensional paper frog and lilly pad. Students will be using paper, watercolors, glue and scissors to create their own mini-pond.
