An American horticulturist, botanist, and Cornell University professor, Liberty Hyde Bailey (1858-1954) dominated the field of horticultural literature writing over 65 books and 1,300 articles. Librarian Gary Esmonde shares the life, work, and lasting contributions of Bailey in the study of cultivated plants.
