Rare Book Policy

The Eleanor Squire Library has a rare book collection of nearly 1,000 titles, comprising nearly 1,800 volumes, and accessible to the public for research. Below are the guidelines and policies for viewing the collection.

• Books will be pulled in advance of appointment — View the checklist of rare book titles
  
• Condition of book will be reviewed before and after use
  
• One book may be used at a time
  
• Appointment time is one hour
  
• Books will be used in the Main Room of the library, with librarian present
  
• White gloves will be provided
  
• Paper, pencil, and laptops may be used
  
• Copies of any kind are not permitted
