ABOUT BON APPÉTIT
Our story is simple. It's simply about food - great food. Everything we believe and everything we do is based on creating great food, lovingly produced in a socially responsible manner, purchasing regional and seasonal products from local farmers and artisan producers. We cook from scratch using fresh, authentic ingredients. We make our food alive with flavor and nutrition.

CIRCLE OF RESPONSIBILITY
To communicate Bon Appétit's efforts in the area of social responsibility, we have created a program called Circle of Responsibility. It is designed to give guests information about our kitchen principles and how they affect the environment, the community and individual well-being. Another aspect of the Circle of Responsibility program is the labeling of certain foods in the café. Icons have been developed to indicate which dishes are low fat, vegetarian, vegan, organic, etc. With Circle of Responsibility, guests are able to make informed dietary choices that fit their goals and values.

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
At Bon Appétit, we are striving to establish ourselves as a leader in the workplace, community and in environmental practices. We are forming valued partnerships to help promote conservation and protect the places where we live and work. We are committed to our social responsibility, promoting the well being of our guests and their environment by:

• Using food that is local, fresh and prepared in a healthy and nutritious way
• Creating menus that include fruits, vegetables, legumes and grains
• Training our staff to serve and prepare food safely
• Making purchasing decisions that preserve fish supplies
• Purchasing foods from local producers and artisans
• Recycling wherever possible
