The Sounds of the Shakuhachi

Grand Master Michael Chikuzen Gould will enlighten participants in the Zen sound of the Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute).  Learn its history in Japanese culture and the process of creating these beautiful instruments from bamboo.  Try playing a beginners’ flute during this interactive, educational program!

Following the presentation, CDs will be available for purchase with a signing by Michael Gould.
