The human body is a moving energy field in relationship to everything that is a part of it (all the systems, organs, cells, etc.) and to everything of which it is a part ( families, cities, continents, solar systems, etc). We exist at levels beyond the obvious, interacting energetically with everything else. We are aware of these relationships through our feelings and intuitions. When we are ill, energy is not flowing easily to sustain balance in our systems. Learn to sense your energy field and discover approaches to balancing it.
Rose Marie Fantelli is a Professional Clinical Counselor, Energy Practitioner and Mind Body Coach. She holds an M.A. in community counseling from John Carroll University. She has studied many modalities of energy psychology and subtle energy practices with both traditional and nontraditional healers for more than 15 years. 1:30 p.m.
Michael Polsinelli, D.C. - Advanced Spinal Care Center
Overlooking the Fundamentals
In our quest for body mind integration we sometimes overlook basic questions. How to mind and body integrate? What pathways does integration take? What can physically interfere with that communication? How do we correct it? Yoga, meditation, nutrition, diet, massage, chiropractic care, emotional therapy and exercise are excellent intermediate steps toward mind body integration. But first we must make sure the essential pathways are clear.
Dr. Michael Polsinelli uses a little-known procedure developed by the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) that simply unblocks the communication between body and mind at a very basic level. Unfortunately, less than 300 doctors worldwide perform this procedure. He operates a practice in Willoughby Hills and is the first NUCCA doctor in Ohio to attain level II certification. He has experience practicing naturopathy as well as Orthobionomy, Applied Kinesiology, Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy. He has been a practitioner of the healing arts since 1990 when he attended the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe.
