The Garden is located in University Circle, the heart of Cleveland’s cultural district. Just a stone’s throw from Little Italy and catty-corner to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Botanical Garden boasts some of the finest public gardens in the Midwest. Each one is a gem with its own distinct personality.
The Garden is also home to the Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse, a unique conservatory that takes you on an exotic adventure to the lush rainforest of Costa Rica and the spiny desert of Madagascar.
Our ten-acre visitor center is open year-round and offers something different each time you visit. No matter what the season, beauty abounds, delighting your senses and refreshing your spirit.

The Garden is open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Onsite Parking
Onsite parking is available on a first-come basis in the Garden's attached parking garage. Rates are a $5.00 minimum, $1.00 each additional half hour after 2 1/2 hours, with a maximum daily rate of $10.00.
Visitors to the Garden are eligible for a special $5.00 discounted onsite parking rate.
Parking rates above are not applicable for all special events.

Offsite Parking
If you choose not to park in our attached garage, please review our OFFSITE PARKING PLAN prior to visiting.
The Garden does not offer discounted rates to visitors parking offsite.

Accessibility
The Glasshouse and most of the grounds are ADA-compliant. Handicapped parking spaces are available in the garage. For your convenience, enter the main entrance on Wade Oval and follow the signs. Wheelchairs are not available, so please come prepared with your own, if needed.

Location and Driving Directions
Cleveland Botanical Garden is located in Wade Oval in University Circle, near the Cleveland Museum of Art and Cleveland Museum of Natural History. The Garden is three miles south of I-90 using the Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard exit (#177).

Photography at the Garden
The Garden encourages visitors to capture images of their visit on personal cameras. For the enjoyment and safety of its guests, the Garden prohibits the use of tripods in the Glasshouse.
