WinterShow Header

For years, families have made a trip to Cleveland Botanical Garden an important part of their holiday celebrations. This year promises to be more special than ever! Plan to spend a couple hours with us this holiday season.

Our annual WinterShow is the place for Clevelanders to see gingerbread creations. Traditional or whimsical, modern or slightly whacky, the Garden's amazing gingerbread display fascinates holiday revelers every year. Look for the theme of this year's show, "Walking in a Winter Wonderland," to be carried through in some of the gingerbread creations — they don't even have to be houses!

From the moment you enter our main lobby, you will feel transported to a magical silver forest dotted with gingerbread houses and charming curiosities along the way.

We've been planning for months to create a magical setting for this year's WinterShow. Dozens of evergreens, 1,000 silver curly willow branches, and a heavy sprinkling of "Fairy Dust" all figure into this production.

Our Affiliate Garden Clubs are up to their usual creativity with an exhibit of whimsical winter interest containers on the Geis Terrace.

Fun programs for the entire family are also an important part of WinterShow. Just look at what you can do while you're here!

During WinterShow, The Garden Store is the place to go for inspired shopping. From witty, festive stationery and seasonal decorations to fun and educational gifts for children, from a dream selection for gardening enthusiasts to elegant, one of-a-kind jewelry, charming vases and planters, the Garden Store has it all!

The Garden Cafe will offer three types of hot chocolate, fresh ground local coffee, fresh local apple cider with cinnamon sticks, warm roasted nuts, and fresh baked holiday pies in addition to such staples as soup, chili, sandwiches and salads.

Magical decorations, great food and shopping, and Cleveland's best gingerbread display — make your plans to visit the Garden today!
