Cleveland Botanical Garden Steams Things up with ‘Sex in the Glasshouse’ Fundraiser

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of hot music, beautiful people and exotic blooms all in the stimulating setting of Cleveland Botanical Garden. Sex in the Glasshouse: A Celebration of Pollination and Propagation is a fundraiser that’s sure to arouse all of your senses — running from 7 to 11 pm on Friday, February 21, with proceeds benefiting the Garden and its education programs.

This sweet escape from snow and cold offers you a tropical paradise filled with temptation in the form of mouth-watering cocktails, delectable food and pulsing beats. Plus, Sex in the Glasshouse provides you with eye-opening insight into the sometimes subtle and sometimes not-so-subtle pollinating and mating practices that perpetuate our planet’s flora and fauna.

Sex in the Glasshouse is presented by Garden Young Leaders, a dynamic group of diverse and dedicated Garden members who seek to promote awareness of and involvement with the Garden and all of its educational programs. The enchanting event is chaired by Garden board members Lydia Harrington of Hudson, Nicole Lincoln of Gates Mills and Elizabeth Denton Spencer of Moreland Hills.

The evening will include DJs, a luxury auction and interactive opportunities to learn all about the birds and the bees, and the flowers and the trees. Tickets are $100 per Garden member and $125 per non-member and may be purchased in advance by calling 216-707-2819.

Cleveland Botanical Garden, located at 11030 East Boulevard in Cleveland’s University Circle cultural district, is an ever-changing urban escape where you find enrichment, inspiration and enchanting events throughout the year.

Sex in the Glasshouse is presented by Elivate. Supporting sponsors include Reclaimed Cleveland, Howard Hanna, Spencer Event Strategy, ParkOhio, American Greetings and Penske Cleveland.
