Introducing the Garden Young Leaders

In an effort to grow its next crop of top supporters, Cleveland Botanical Garden introduces the Garden Young Leaders group, which makes its first big splash this week with a steamy new fundraising event. The “Sex in the Glasshouse” party, running from 7 to 11 pm on Friday, February 21 at the Garden, is a celebration of pollination and propagation featuring mouth-watering cocktails, delectable food, pulsing beats and an auction of luxurious packages.

So who are the Garden Young Leaders? They are dynamic, diverse and dedicated Garden members who seek to share their passion for the Garden and its mission with other young professionals and community leaders. Garden Young Leaders promote the Garden and its events, support and participate in major Garden programs and initiatives and plan fundraising events such as Sex in the Glasshouse, which aims to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Garden’s educational programs.

The inaugural class of Garden Young Leaders includes:
• Lydia Harrington of Hudson (co-chair)
• Nicole Lincoln of Gates Mills (co-chair)
• Stella Skaljac of Brecksville
• Kate Lincoln of Gates Mills
• Julie Conrad of Moreland Hills
• Laura Bailey of Cleveland

• Kim Crane of Rocky River
• Anne Shaughnessy of Cleveland
• Blake Johns of Cleveland
• Catherine Levy of Shaker Heights
