RIPE! Fest Returns to Garden with Great Local Food, Music
Feed your senses at Cleveland Botanical Garden’s 4th annual RIPE! Fest on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22. Rain or shine, this family-friendly festival brings together Northeast Ohio’s best bites, brews and tunes in the beautiful setting of the Garden.
RIPE! Fest offers flavorful fare including chef demonstrations, beer and wine pairings, live music, local food, hands-on children’s activities and a marketplace of locally made health and beauty products, gifts and décor. For the first time, all of the RIPE! Fest fun will take place within the gardens, which will be in their peak autumnal glory.
RIPE! Fest hours are 11 am to 10 pm on Saturday, September 21, and 11 am to 7:30 pm on Sunday, September 22, at the Garden. Tickets are $6 for Garden members in advance or $8 at the door, $4 for Garden member children in advance or $5 at the door, $11 for non-member adults in advance or $13 at the door and $6 for non-member children in advance or $7 at the door. You can get your RIPE! Fest tickets in advance at cbgarden.org/ripe, at the Garden or by calling 216.721.1600 ext. 100.
Also part of RIPE! Fest weekend is the Garden’s Pancake Flip-Off from 9 to 11 am on Sunday, September 22. Some of Cleveland’s top chefs compete to see whose breakfast creations stack up best, and you get to pick the winner. The inaugural Pancake Flip-Off sold out last year, so be sure to order tickets in advance. Tickets are $10 per Garden member adult, $6 per Garden member child, $15 per non-member adult and $8 per non-member child and include admission to the Sunday portion of RIPE! Fest.
