V2V in the News, EPA Fact Sheets

If reading isn't  your forte, you can listen to some NPR broadcasts about Cleveland Botanical Garden's role in urban greening. Vacant to Vibrant was featured on WKSU this year, while projects in Slavic Village were featured last year on Ideastream.




In addition, EPA recently released fact sheets on greening vacant lots, wherein Vacant to Vibrant and Cleveland Botanical Garden efforts in Slavic Village were featured as case studies. The EPA Summary Report gives on overview on current practices, while specifications on stormwater capture, vacancy, population decline and details of project cost and implementation can be found on Page 7 and 8 of the Case Studies PDF.
