Green Gardener Certificate Program
Saturdays, February 9, 23, March 9, 23, April 6
9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Do you want to incorporate more sustainable methods into your garden? Have you always wanted to know the “right” way to prune? Are you worried about killing the “good” bugs in your garden along with the “bad” ones? Were you asleep during your high school botany class?
Fret not; our experts are here to help! This informative and fun learning opportunity mixes on-line learning with on-site, hands-on labs at the Garden. You’ll be introduced to common landscape plants, basic botany, soil structure, plant pathology and a plethora of other plant topics, all while integrating organic and environmental methods.
Half the learning takes place at your convenience in the comfort of your own home and is sure to chase at least some of those winter blahs away. You’ll read and complete on-line assignments within the 2 weeks prior to each on-site lab at the Garden.
In its eighth year, this newly revised program keeps getting better and better!
