Your support continues to be critical as we navigate through these uncertain times. As a non-profit organization, we rely on ticket sales, education program fees, event sales and donations to operate. Our closure has had a significant impact on our operating budget, and your support is needed now more than ever.
Our effort to connect people with the wonder, beauty, and value of trees and plants, to inspire action for healthy communities has not been diminished. The gardens, trees, trails and animals that make Holden Forests & Gardens a community treasure continue to be cared for at the highest possible level by our team of skilled horticulturists and staff. Our education, horticulture, science and marketing teams are creating virtual programming that can be shared via social media and our website to keep our community engaged. The science and conservation teams continue to conduct nationally recognized research in plant and environmental sciences.
Rest assured that during this time, Holden Forests & Gardens will continue to be a leader, helping to transform all communities into vibrant places where trees, plants, and people thrive.
Please consider a donation to our HF&G Fund, which supports our operating budget to ensure that your favorite Garden and Arboretum experiences are here to stay.
Thank you for your continued advocacy, support, and curiosity.
In early December, a harsh winter storm hit the Arboretum and Botanical garden that caused over $48,000 in damages. We asked out supporters to help us raise funds to cover the costs required to replace, repair and prune the 465+ trees and shrubs that were affected. Thank you for your support of the HF&G Winter Tree Damage Campaign! Your generous support helped us exceed our goal, and together we raised over $58,000!
